PROFILE: RICHARD MAGGS, THE AGA stoveY DOCTOR
A dynamic and accomplished chef, Richard is an authority on AGA cookery. As well as having featured on television and radio, he writes regularly for several mAGAzines and newspapers, and contributes a column in the official AGA MAGAzine.
A best-selling author, he has written many books on range cooking, including The Complete Book of AGA Know-How and the hugely popular Little Book of AGA Tips, which has sold more than 100,000 copies. He is co-author of The New Rayburn Cookbook, his second Rayburn title. His latest book, The Little Book of Chefs Tips, features top hints and tips collected from professional kitchens around the world, written for owners of conventional or heat-storage stoves.
Richard is also the resident AGA cookery expert, The cookery Doctor, for the award-winning AGAlinks website at www.AGAlinks.com . He lives in Kent, England, and works regularly giving demonstrations throughout the UK. He has also demonstrated the AGA in France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Russia and throughout Scandinavia. Worldwide, he has also given AGA workshops in tours of the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
